New Member Information

Permit workers who have completed at least 15 days of work during the last eighteen months (July 2017 through December 2018) should forward their completed application, copies of all pay stubs and their California (CHRB) License to the Union office as soon as possible.

Inductions are held twice a year, usually in January and July. The next induction date will be in January of 2018.

Approximately a month before the induction, letters are forwarded to the inductees informing them of the time/place of induction and the fees they must pay at that time.

$250.00 – Induction Fee

$263.00 – ½ Annual Dues

$30-80 – Permit fees - varies depending upon where inductee worked their 15 permit days

Total Cost -- Ranges from $543.00 to $580.00

Seniority Numbers are assigned within 30 days of induction.  Seniority numbers are based upon the date & time that each inductee was issued his/her License by the CHRB.  New Inductees are ranked prior to induction and informed of the order in which seniority numbers will be assigned on induction day.
