At CCHAT, our mission is to teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing to master critical communication skills before transitioning into a more traditional educational setting. Our staff is committed to equipping your child with the requisite language and social skills necessary to have a successful mainstream experience.
To achieve this goal, we help you choose an appropriate educational placement as your child prepares to leave our program and enter the mainstream school system. The smoother this transition, the better positioned your child is for long-term success. We also offer additional mainstream support services – depending on your child’s unique needs.
