The Elko County Fair features six full days of Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing, including two of the Wests most prestigious small-track stakes races, the 72nd Annual Intermountain Quarter Horse Futurity, and the 40th annual Elko County Quarter Horse Derby. In all, the Fair offers more than $200,000 in purse money for race competitors, with each purse at a minimum of $5000/race.
