The free tax program (VITA-Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) offers families and individuals making less than $65,000 free tax return preparation by trained and IRS-certified volunteers. Appointments are for federal and state tax preparation.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Tax appointments at our United Way office in Lawrenceville and at The Salvation Army are closed. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.
-There will be limited appointments available at United Way starting May 3.
-Please call 609-896-1912 on Mondays from 9 AM - 12 PM.
-When you come for your appointment please wear a mask and bring all ID, Social Security cards, and tax documents at that time.
