Rehabilitation Therapy

Sunrise Children's Hospital offers pediatric inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy.

Sunrise Childrens Hospital is the only provider in Nevada featuring a pediatric inpatient rehabilitation unit with specialized programs for children under the age of 18 who have suffered a severe injury or illness.

Outpatient pediatric therapy clinic including PT, OT, ST for NICU follow up developmental care. Our clinic focuses on the 0-3 child who needs therapy to achieve developmental milestones.

It presents a continuum of care between NICU stay and transition into the community to prevent developmental delays. Continues family-centered care to have parents involved in the development of their child with home programs.

Referrals from pediatricians for appropriate individualized care programs for improving gross motor, fine motor, or feeding/speech problems. Pediatric wound care is also provided in certain instances, depending on the needs of the child.

Pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services are given to patients to improve their ability to become independent. Sunrise Children's Hospital employs a team of therapists with specialized pediatric training to address all patients' therapy concerns.
